Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for all aspects of the contract administration function throughout the company. This includes the management of the contract administration staff, the establishment and execution of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance, and providing our operating groups with support in the bidding and acquisition of projects. The Senior Contracts Manager will be a key member of our management team and will work closely with all the managers throughout the organization.
Education and Experience:
Five to Eight years of contracts experience, preferable in the construction industry or related field.
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
CPCM Certification or ability to obtain the designation is desired.
Supervisory experience required.
Strong background in risk management and commercial insurance is preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the contract administration process, including supervision of staff, support of operational needs and work with senior management on contract related issues.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions directly with clients and/or subcontractors.
Develop and implement a recurring training program for contract administrators.
Manage all policies and procedures relevant to contract administration, recommending improvements and changes as needed.
Interface with all operating and support groups to insure good communication channels and provide support as needed.
