Design and implement a variety of workforce related policies/programs through direct application of human resources administration principles, transactions, strategies and applied knowledge of corporate human resources policies, procedures and practices.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree, plus 5 to 7 years Human Resourcesexperience or equivalent combinations of training and related experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and lead the overall corporate staffing and recruiting process.

  • Manage the application and applicant tracking processes through iCIMS to ensure compliance with EEO/OFCCP regulatory guidelines.

  • Prepare or maintain employment records related to events such as hiring, terminations, transfers and promotions using human resources information system software programs and other internal PSD data management platforms.

  • Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.

  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

  • Participate in the development and on-going maintenance/updating of the P&J Team Member Handbook.

  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations to team members.

  • Develop procedures and maintain process guidelines and documentation relative to hiring employees and the on-boarding process, which includes both electronic and processing of paperwork.

  • Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities.

  • Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns.

  • Participate in the development of the new team members orientation programs.

  • Schedule or conduct new team members’ orientation programs.

  • Maintain and update human resources documents, such as organizational charts, employee handbooks or directories, or performance evaluation forms.

  • Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures.


Working knowledge of corporate procedures, staffing benefits, wage and salary administration, interviewing/employment practices (including federal, state, and local regulations) and general personnel functions required. Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills required.

Safety Considerations:

Employee typically works in an office environment and is not exposed to extreme environments. Employee may be required to lift objects up to 25 pounds on a non-routine basis. Employee must practice good ergonomic principles to prevent illnesses such as carpal tunnel and back injury from minor task performance.
