The function of the Maintenance Mechanic is to safely and efficiently troubleshoot, repair, and install equipment in compliance with all plant codes, policies and procedures. This job requires the ability to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as motors, pneumatic components, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments. The candidate will respond to all maintenance issues, both mechanical and electrical throughout the plant and perform other duties, as required. This position requires a flexible work schedule, which includes weekends to support operating schedule and the needs of the facility.
