Commercial HVAC - Outside Sales Engineer – Nashville, TN

 

TBCo offers consultative and selling opportunities of HVAC equipment from leading manufacturers, which we provide to mechanical contractors, engineers and owners.  The HVAC industry is a challenging and rewarding work environment in which new and established technologies are applied to solve thermal, comfort and process problems.   

 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing tools and expertise to select and apply mechanical HVAC equipment
  • Building customer relationships, assessing & fulfilling customer needs
  • Quotation development- equipment take-offs, product selection, pricing, bid strategy  
  • Negotiating and order closing  
  • After-sale job project management- submittals, ordering, expediting, problem solving

 

The ideal Outside Sales Engineer will be:

  • Success oriented
  • Competitive and energetic
  • A self-starter
  • Able to work well under pressure with a strong sense of urgency
  • Have the ability to multi-task

 

You will need to have:

  • An Engineering degree or comparable industry experience
  • Record of sustained high performance
  • Demonstrated a good work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to assess needs and provide solutions
  • Industry experience (minimum - 5 years) preferred
